Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Litigation Associate to join our team. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for handling a variety of wage-hour class action claims in accordance with California Labor Laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in court and argue motions effectively.
  • Draft and respond to discovery and manage all aspects of litigation.
  • Defend depositions and prepare clients and witnesses for depositions.
  • Run cases from beginning to end, including trial preparation and trial.
  • Advise clients on all aspects of PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) claims.
  • Develop case strategies based on the facts of the case and the client's goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal principles and developments in employment law.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive defense strategy.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
  • A minimum of 4-8 years of employment litigation experience.
  • Must have significant experience handling California wage-hour class action claims.
  • Proficiency in PAGA and California Labor Laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to run cases from beginning to end.
  • Experience in drafting and responding to discovery, arguing motions, and defending depositions.
  • Must be admitted to practice in the state of California.
  • Proven track record in defense litigation.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
