  • Professional Development and Initiative
    • Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
    • Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, promoting a healthy work environment and modeling professional practice.
    • Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement in nursing.
  • Resources and Support
    • Proactively plan for patient care across the care continuum, using effective communication and collaboration.
    • Participate in the development of protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.
    • Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing (preferred).
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia (or multi-state compact).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (instructor or provisional).
  • National certification in area of specialty (preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of current direct patient care experience.
