Your Role: As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, repairs, and various routine tasks necessary to maintain the company’s fleet of trucks and trailers. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine tasks based on the designated garage area, which may involve washing, fueling, bulkhead repairs, and tire mounting.
- Providing breakdown assistance to drivers and team members as required.
- Documenting all work completed accurately.
- Keeping the workshop area clean, safe, and professional.
- Utilizing lean methodologies to minimize waste in all aspects of the role.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, may include weekends.
- Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings in various weather conditions.
- Position requires extensive standing and/or walking on concrete surfaces.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Mechanical experience.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 6 months of hire.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or completion of technical school training.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- A strong desire to be a collaborative team member in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
