Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Virginia Beach. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, food service, and housekeeping
  • Provide emotional support and socialization to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and services provided
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; experience working with elderly and dementia care preferred
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted
  • Full use of hands, arms, and legs; ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
