Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Roadway Worker In Charge (RWIC) to join our team. The RWIC will provide critical support to our railroad flagging services, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to our company's success.

ResponsibilitiesThe RWIC will be responsible for:
  1. Coordinating jobsites and communicating effectively with Dispatchers, Train Crews, and other personnel.
  2. Ensuring compliance with Railroad, State, and Federal Policies.
  3. Maintaining accurate records and reporting daily activities.
As an RWIC, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, develop your skills, and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience with a Class 1 Railroad, Regional Short Line, Transit System, State DOT Rail Division, Railroad Supplier, Railroad Contractor, and/or Railroad Consultant; preferably within the Maintenance Of Way (MOW) Department. A strong understanding of Railroad Engineering, Railroad Design, Railroad Construction, and Safety principles is essential. The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
