Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication needs.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and provide regular reports to parents and other stakeholders.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in speech and language therapy and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Must meet state certification guidelines for speech/language disorders.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with students with communication disorders is preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
