In the role of Installation Energy Project Manager, you will leverage your extensive consulting, analytical, and strategic skills to oversee projects for the Department of Defense (DoD). Your contributions will support a comprehensive range of installation energy initiatives, establishing you as a trusted advisor to our clients.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating and analyzing multifaceted systems, policies, and processes to enhance installation energy resilience. You will manage the execution of energy-related policies and governance, ensuring the sustainability of warfighting readiness through efficient, secure, and environmentally friendly energy solutions.
Key Qualifications:
- Over 20 years of experience in energy project management.
- A minimum of 10 years in program or project management related to DoD utilities or energy, Federal Agency utilities, or large-scale private sector utility systems.
- Proven experience in assessing installation energy initiatives and fostering partnerships with industry stakeholders, utility companies, and public agencies.
- Expertise in reviewing existing statutes, policies, and legislation related to installation energy.
- In-depth knowledge of the DoD organizational structure and the Office of the Secretary of Defense's installation energy programs.
- Familiarity with legislative and policy frameworks governing installation energy.
- Strong capability to address program execution challenges, coordinate communications, and manage project timelines effectively.
- Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- A Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience at the Office of the Secretary of Defense level is advantageous.
