Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop bridge design plans and construction bid documents for various transportation projects.
  • Conduct assignments related to bridge inspections, load ratings, and all aspects of bridge and foundation design.
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Assist in field inspections and prepare reports for bridge and culvert evaluations.
  • Participate in project initiation meetings.
  • Research and document jurisdictional requirements.
  • Create innovative design solutions that align with client objectives.
  • Conduct site feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
  • Engage in schematic design, engineering systems coordination, and cost analysis.
  • Research specifications and materials.
  • Prepare detailed design plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for bridges and related structures.
  • Collaborate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Support Project Managers and Engineers proactively.
  • Provide technical assistance during construction, addressing design-related inquiries and reviewing progress.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation and bridge design.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, STAAD, and Bridge Design Software is preferred.
