Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer for a full-time, direct hire opportunity based in Canonsburg, PA.

This role will join a growing team and provide hands-on drafting and design within CAD for commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site development and be responsible for drawing out site plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D, assisting in the permitting process, handling utility coordination, and having a strong understanding of erosion and wetland management.

The successful candidate will be expected to work a hybrid schedule (minimum of 1 day in office a week) and travel to client sites as required. An active PE certification in PA is highly preferred, but individuals with a PE certification in other states may be considered if open to obtaining their PE certification in PA.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of Engineering experience
  • Experience within site development
  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • PE Certification (active PE, highly preferred to have PE cert in PA)
  • Civil 3D CAD Experience
  • Construction specs/codes PE certifications in multiple states
  • Construction management, GC or CE
  • Structural engineering experience in addition to site development
