Job Summary:

The Technology Risk and Controls Senior Manager will be responsible for planning, supervising staff, and executing IT Audit, IT SOX, and IT Risk Consulting engagements. This role will also support demand creation and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead IT Risk Audit/Consulting engagements to ensure high-quality delivery within project budgets, including budget status tracking, billing, and collection analysis.
  • Present and communicate status and issues to client senior management personnel.
  • Set performance expectations for team members and provide performance feedback.
  • Participate/lead strategic and tactical initiatives related to new product offerings and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to address their needs and identify new opportunities for business.
  • Prepare and review workpapers, as well as prepare final versions of internal audit reports.
  • Provide technical guidance to Crowe staff and client organization personnel regarding information technology general controls.
  • Communicate issues and status to Crowe executives and client senior management.
  • Establish and develop productive sales channels both within Crowe and with external technology partners, industry associations, etc.
  • Directly generate and drive to closure new sales opportunities in the IT Audit area.

Requirements:

Educational and Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree required; major in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT audit, corporate IT audit, or technology risk consulting preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Candidate should have solid experience in planning engagements, managing IT audit projects, supervising personnel, and developing audit work programs.
  • Business Development experience is required.
  • Evaluating application and IT general controls across various systems.
  • Drafting reports and executive summaries on IT control issues for senior management personnel.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and/or Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) preferred; will also consider Certified in Risk and Information (CRISC) or Certified Internal Audit Manager (CIA).
  • Management-level experience with a Big Four accounting firm preferred.

Skill Requirements:

  • Understanding of SAP security, change management, and basic understanding of SAP architecture.
  • Experience in designing and/or testing SAP ITGCs for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Familiarity with SAP products (ECC, S4, CRM, BPC, SRM, GRC, Warehouse management, etc.).
  • Experience with System Development Life Cycle controls.
  • SAP implementation experience, including SAP ECC, S/4, Rise, GRC, etc., is preferred.
  • Continuous control monitoring or automation experience.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $130,000 to $284,261 per year, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications.
