Child Development Specialist

As a Pre-K Teacher at Children's Friend, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experiences of young children. You will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and contributing to a collaborative and inclusive school culture.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement high-quality lesson plans aligned with state and national standards
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
* Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing curriculum development
* Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive school culture
* Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date on industry developments
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development OR a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
* Current RI Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Early Childhood Education Certificate (Pre-K – 2)
* Experience working with young children, either as a teacher, assistant, or volunteer
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year depending on experience
