LPN - Family Medicine - Manitowoc - PRN

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Family Medicine department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, and carrying out administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider.
Key Responsibilities- Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
- Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders, and prepare patient charts.
- Instruct patients and families as directed within the scope of licensure or certification.
- Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet infection control standards and ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
- Current clinical experience as a licensed practical nurse.
- Valid Practical Nursing license issued by the state of WI.
- CPR/Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from an approved program.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet changing demands. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work under stressful or emergency situations, and have the ability to problem-solve effectively.
