Summary:

Our Respiratory Care Specialist Critical Care will perform the functions of a respiratory care practitioner in direct care. This position will utilize the respiratory care process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care and work effectively with members of the healthcare team, including the family, in the provision of care to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the functions of a respiratory care practitioner in direct care
  • Utilize the respiratory care process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care
  • Work effectively with members of the healthcare team, including the family, in the provision of care to patients
  • Require at least 1 year of Pediatric critical care experience
  • Hold a Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Hold a BLS certification
  • Hold an NRP (Plano and NICU core) certification
  • Hold a PALS certification
  • Hold an RRT recognized by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and active Texas license
