About the Role
Fountain View of Monroe is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Aide. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests, associates, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily, adhering to facility procedures and protocols.
- Respect guests' privacy and preferences regarding room arrangement and personal items, knocking before entering guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Clean walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and waxed floors according to department procedures and cleaning schedules.
- Ensure housekeeping supplies are stored out of reach of guests at all times and dispose of trash and waste, including biohazardous waste, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Post signs indicating safety hazards when housekeeping activities pose environmental risks to guests, associates, visitors, or others in the facility.
- Assist with laundry as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- One year of experience as a housekeeper preferred.
