About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker MSW to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and enhance patients' ability to cope with physical, emotional, and environmental problems related to illness or convalescence.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to establish a discharge plan for patients.
  • Provide social work services, including counseling, education, and advocacy, to patients and their families.
  • Float between all three campuses of Jefferson Northeast, including the Bucks, Torresdale, and Frankford locations.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Masters of Social Work program required.
  • Minimum of 2 years hospital-based social work experience.
  • Active LSW or LCSW required for New Jersey positions and preferred for Pennsylvania positions.
