Job Summary:
As a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic for the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring that all wheeled vehicles are in good working condition. This includes inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, testing, adjusting, and replacing systems and components. You will also perform recovery operations and service electrical systems, including wiring harness and charging systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain wheeled vehicles, trailers, and material handling equipment systems
• Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harness and starting and charging systems
• Perform recovery operations and troubleshoot mechanical problems

Benefits:
As a member of the Army National Guard, you will receive paid training, a monthly paycheck, and access to education benefits, including the Montgomery GI Bill and federal and state tuition assistance. You will also be eligible for retirement benefits, low-cost life insurance, and a 401(k)-type savings plan.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 17 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet citizenship requirements. You must also be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
