Key Responsibilities- Manufacture dehydrated and liquid cell culture media, adhering to batch record instructions and quality control procedures.
- Weigh and measure raw materials with precision, using equipment such as pipettors, balances, and osmometers.
- Operate milling equipment, perform sterile filtration, and complete standard product testing, including osmolality, pH, and turbidity.
- Collaborate with R&D, procurement, quality, process technology, marketing, and external and internal customers and vendors to ensure seamless production and quality control.
- Perform cleaning, inspection, calibration, and maintenance of equipment, and maintain related logs and records.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure that tasks are performed in a safe and responsible manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to promote a positive team environment and achieve business goals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a high-paced laboratory environment or manufacturing facility.
- Basic proficiency with PCs and use of Windows applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PPT.
- Statistical analysis using mathematical spreadsheets such as Excel or Minitab is highly desired.
- Ability to lift or move approximately 40lbs.
- Experience in weighing multiple components.
- Good communication skills and ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
- Flexibility with departmental work schedules, including overtime.
