Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Mercy. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for interpreting orders for requested exams, producing high-quality CT and diagnostic medical images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret orders for requested exams and produce high-quality CT and diagnostic medical images
  • Position and transfer patients as needed
  • Select proper technical factors on an individual patient basis
  • Operate equipment as directed and provide protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
  • Assist physicians in administering enhancing agents and medications
  • Perform delegated areas of authority in the performance of CT and special imaging techniques
  • Assist within all areas of radiology as needed
  • Function as a cooperative team member on weekend and evening shifts
Requirements
  • A.R.R.T. registered or registry eligible upon hire, and A.R.R.T. achieved within six months of employment
  • Must have ARRT Advanced Level certification in CT Scan or working towards certification
  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training
