Job Summary:
We're seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, providing patient care, and ensuring the safety of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist.
- Provide patient care essential to these procedures, including positioning and preparing patients for imaging.
- Apply principles of MR safety to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
- 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program. New Grads are encouraged to apply.
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area. BLS Basic Life Support
- IV Insertion, Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
- Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients. Continual standing or walking. Adapt to stressful situations.
- Proficient in the use of MRI Scanners, Power Injectors, workstations and Computers.
