At MAB Community Services, we offer a competitive salary of $42,000 - $52,000 per year for our Residential Counselor position.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will provide support to participants in group homes with intellectual and developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to participants to maximize their capacity for personal growth and community membership.
  • Ensure a safe and clean home environment for all participants.
  • Assist participants with daily living activities, such as bathing, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Monitor and report on participants' physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with participants, their families, and community professionals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One year of experience working with adults with disabilities is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required.
  • Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification, CPR Certification, First Aid certification is preferred.
