Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs and services to support high school students in defining their career interests and exploring career and educational opportunities.
- Meet one-on-one with students and families to discuss academic and career goals and develop pathways to achieve them.
- Collaborate with high school Career Development Coordinators, teachers, counselors, and the Davidson-Davie Career Development Office to facilitate career exploration, job shadowing, internships, and other career activities.
- Comply with data and maintain records to evaluate and report program objectives and success.
- Collaborate with community college personnel to provide students and families with information and support regarding college admissions, Career & College Promise pathways, student financial aid, and testing.
- Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Minimum of two years' experience in secondary and/or post-secondary education.
- Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Experience in higher education.
- Experience in the community college sector.
- Experience using various career exploration tools.
- Experience interpreting labor market information.
- Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
