Job Summary:

The Insurance Development Specialist will be responsible for testing and validating the functionality of our insurance policy administration platform, Guidewire InsuranceNow. This includes testing policy workflows, task logic, correspondence, output, rating, content, and all other associated functionality. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and validate the functionality of our insurance policy administration platform, Guidewire InsuranceNow
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the platform is functioning as intended
  • Identify and report defects or issues with the platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and improve the platform
  • Develop and maintain documentation of test results and platform functionality
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
  • One year experience in underwriting or policy service in the Guidewire InsuranceNow platform required; two years or more experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
