Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing childcare enrollment planning, ensuring maximum capacity throughout the year. The successful candidate will provide updates to the Director and Assistant Director, maintain contact with waitlist parents, and keep all lists up to date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage childcare customer accounts daily and weekly, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain all records and transactions necessary for the center's state-subsidized childcare tuition programs.
  • Create state licensing employee files for all new hires and review quarterly to ensure all state requirements are up-to-date and in file.
  • Provide food service vendor weekly meal counts and review all menu modifications.
  • Submit monthly meal reimbursement request for the federal food program (CACFP) and compile required audit documentation.
General Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and compile materials and information for departmental programs.
  • Prepare records of program activities, oversee, and ensure the timely processing and delivery of required materials.
  • Review policies and procedures involved in departmental programs, suggest improvements, and ensure that rules comply with university standards.
  • Analyze data and information generated or produced by program, write reports, and other written materials based on this data.
  • Verify the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by program, resolve any discrepancies or problems.
  • Respond to requests for program information by staff, students, and faculty, handle any necessary correspondence.
  • Serve as liaison for department, coordinate activities, and exchanges information.

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
