Job Responsibilities:

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing tax returns and managing client engagements, including scheduling, staffing, and addressing technical issues with minimal oversight.
  • Supervising and mentoring staff and senior accountants, fostering professional development and a positive team environment.
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations and managing ongoing employee performance.
  • Collaborating with partners to identify and pursue new client opportunities.
  • Contributing to the firm's growth through recruiting, training, and publications.
  • Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through professionalism and exceptional service.
  • Continuously improving knowledge and skills in relevant industries through training and learning opportunities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • CPA license preferred (not mandatory in some cases).
  • Several years of tax experience, including recent managerial experience.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to set and achieve goals and meet deadlines.
