Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Resurgens Orthopaedics. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiologic procedures and taking high-quality x-rays following established protocols for patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Takes x-rays using radiation protection and shielding materials as required, maintaining a repeat rate of 2% or less.
  • Reviews and quality-assures radiologic images to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Maintains equipment in compliance with state regulations, ensuring it is in good working order and clean.
  • Liaises with patients, physicians, and medical support staff to provide excellent patient care and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Inventory and stocks radiologic supplies, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing waste.
  • Attends required staff meetings and maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Stays up-to-date with continuing medical education requirements and performs additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • RT licensure (no NCTs or LMRTs).
  • Student technologist experience beneficial but not necessary.
  • Orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor.
  • Neat, professional appearance.
