About the Role:

The Sports Facilities Companies is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Director to join our team at Empower Adventures Tampa Bay. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the financial and operating performance of the facility, ensuring optimal profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operations to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Represent the organization and promote its objectives at official functions
  • Appoint department heads and assign responsibilities
  • Coordinate budgetary control systems and administrative processes
  • Direct financial and budget activities to fund operations and maximize investments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, sports management, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience with prior responsibility in daily P&L management and budget oversight of $1MM or greater
  • Proven experience in organizing, booking, and operating in the outdoor recreation and leisure industry

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds overhead
  • Must be able to see and respond to unsafe situations
  • Must be able to climb 70 steps up the adventure apparatus

Travel Requirements:

  • Minimal travel
