Job Summary:

As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay with us. Your role will be to ensure that every guest feels valued and cared for, from the moment they arrive to the moment they depart.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Greeting and Seating: Provide a prompt and gracious greeting to arriving guests, and seat them comfortably with menus.
  • Assisting Servers: Assist servers in providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests throughout their dining experience.
  • Payment Collection: Assist the cashier in the collection of payment for all guest transactions.
  • Reservations: Take reservations by phone and in person, providing helpful and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Table Maintenance: Ensure that tables are clean and set before seating guests, and maintain seating charts for station rotations.
  • Supply Management: Tidy the service podium, keeping it organized, and maintain a supply inventory.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as requested by management.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Clear, effective written and verbal English communication skills are required.
  • Cash Handling: Cash handling experience and the ability to accurately handle cash, credit, or room charges is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires continuous motion and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, clearing tables, buffets, and pulling tables.
  • Availability: Ideal candidate must be flexible to work mornings, nights, and holidays.
