Role OverviewWe are seeking a driven and capable Food Service Operations Manager to join our Constellation Culinary Group team in New York, NY. In this role, you will have the chance to guide a skilled team of food service professionals and oversee all facets of a food service department to ensure that the needs of customers and clients are fulfilled. This position operates within a professional dining environment, adhering to a Monday to Friday schedule. The ideal candidate will be focused on both client and customer satisfaction while maintaining financial accountability.
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing all operations of the food service department and its resources.
- Leading and managing a team of associates, including the recruitment and training of new staff.
- Ensuring compliance with all culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
- Budgeting for the department, including direct procurement of ingredients and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Collaborating with the district manager and other departments on the technical and administrative aspects of dining services.
- Addressing and resolving customer service inquiries.
Essential:
- A minimum of two years of experience in managing food service operations.
- Prior experience in industrial cooking.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with both hourly staff and company executives.
- Proven ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
- ServSafe and/or HACCP certification.
Base Salary: $100,120K
