Job SummaryAs a Shipping and Receiving Associate with Adecco, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle inbound and outbound shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders or invoices using SAP systems.
  • Ensure proper storage of received items according to company standards.
Shipping and Receiving:
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely, creating necessary documentation, and labeling packages accurately.
  • Utilize UPS and FedEx systems for shipping tasks, including scheduling pickups and coordinating logistics.
Inventory Management:
  • Update inventory records in SAP to reflect received and shipped goods.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventory counts as required.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
  • Stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably with exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with LTL shipping and logistics preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory tracking and shipping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn new systems quickly.
Pay Details: 24.14 to 27.58 per hour
