Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will contribute to the success of our practice by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic nursing care for patients by following established standards and procedures.
  • Collect patient data such as vital signs, note how the patient looks and acts or responds to stimuli, and report this information accordingly.
  • Prepare and administer injections, perform routine tests, treat wounds, and change bandages.
  • Prepare patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
  • Administer certain prescribed medications and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.
  • Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
  • Graduated from an Accredited school of practical nursing program (REQUIRED)
  • LVN Certification upon hire (REQUIRED)
  • ACLS or BCLS upon hire (REQUIRED)
  • One year of Clinical Experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
