Pharmacy Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at G & R Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy by receiving and processing prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify written and faxed prescriptions, inputting accurate information into our system
  • Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications in the pharmacy
  • Receive and verify incoming inventory, logging it within the system and putting it away as needed
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records, including patient profiles and inventory logs
  • Accept payment for prescriptions and small transactions
  • Answer phones and handle customer inquiries, referring to the pharmacy as needed
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology
