About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in California.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled CT Technologist to work as a Medical Imaging Specialist, utilizing their expertise to capture high-quality images and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of imaging procedures, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients with accuracy and efficiency
  • Conduct pre-scan preparations, such as positioning patients and explaining procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners and related software
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including scan results and patient information
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in CT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of imaging procedures and protocols
