About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SUE Technician to join our dynamic survey team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a key member of our Geomatics team, you will play a crucial role in assisting the assigned SUE Coordinator in the daily operations of designating and locating sub-surface utilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, place, and connect remote signal generators to subject utilities, load and unload equipment, and assist in the removal and replacement of utility manhole covers.
  • Designate a variety of underground utilities using various electromagnetic equipment, GPR (ground penetrating radar), utility maps, and plans.
  • Assist in field sketch preparation and measurement of designated utility lines.
  • Provide all necessary information and effort under the SUE Coordinator's direct supervision.
Requirements
  • Local work available, but occasional travel may be required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Prior to employment, this position will require the successful passing of a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Experience with GPR and Land Surveying equipment is a plus.
