The Job:

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Strategist to join our team. As the Chief Cybersecurity Officer, you will be responsible for leading our organization's cybersecurity efforts, developing and implementing a comprehensive information security strategy that protects our systems, data, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Cybersecurity Strategy: Establish and maintain a robust cybersecurity framework that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead Incident Response: Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with executive leadership, IT teams, and external partners to ensure effective communication and coordination of cybersecurity efforts.
  • Maintain Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage Cybersecurity Budget: Develop and manage the cybersecurity budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Remain current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends, providing recommendations for enhancements and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications in information security.
  • Experience: 15+ years in IT, with at least 8 years in information security and leadership roles.
  • Healthcare Experience: Proven experience working in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
