Entry-Level Investment Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated Entry-Level Investment Consultant to become a part of our dynamic team. This role serves as an introductory position within our Investment Services department.

The responsibilities will include supporting investment specialists in various offices, as well as addressing IRA inquiries and investment-related questions in both the MSC and retail locations.

The Entry-Level Investment Consultant will also provide assistance to the Senior Program Coordinator and Representatives as required. Over time, this role will involve servicing clients with assets below $25K.

This position is designed for professional growth, with a timeline of three to five years aimed at transitioning into a standard office representative role.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist members with general investment alternatives.
  • Cross-promote credit union products and services while acting on referral opportunities to achieve established goals.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of all Consumers products and services.

Licensing Requirements:
Must successfully obtain Series 7, Series 66, Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses, along with state-specific securities and investment licenses.

  • Maintain all documentation and records to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Gain expertise in IRA accounts.
  • Develop an understanding of Credit Union regulations, philosophy, organizational bylaws, and operational procedures.
  • Acquire knowledge and training across a diverse range of investment products.
  • Assist in various areas as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent professional experience is required for success in this role.

Licensing Completion:
Must successfully complete Series 7, Series 66, Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses, and state-specific securities and investment licenses.
