About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Dollar General. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our employees and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Staffing: Manage the recruitment and hiring process for non-exempt and exempt positions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee data, benefits, and performance management information.
  • Training: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including compliance training and leadership development.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, and FLSA.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a human resources generalist role, with a focus on employee relations, staffing, and process management.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, including positive employee relations, hiring, training, performance management, and employment law.
  • Certifications: Professional human resources certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
