Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure exceptional guest service and high-quality cleaning standards.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning services, including guest rooms, laundry, and public areas.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and amenities.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including front desk, maintenance, and laundry, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage and maintain housekeeping supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations, including ergonomics, emergency responses, and hazard communications.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and report on housekeeping performance metrics, including guest satisfaction, cleanliness standards, and staff productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory role in a hotel housekeeping environment.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to perform the physical job duties of all housekeeping team members.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and efficiently throughout the property.
