Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing manufacturing and facility projects, designing mechanization for assembly equipment, and authoring programs for equipment control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage manufacturing and facility projects, including planning, resource selection, budgeting, and timely completion.
  • Design mechanization for assembly equipment and related pneumatic/electrical circuitry.
  • Author PLC, Operator Interface, and Robotic programs for equipment control.
  • Support maintenance personnel with training and equipment re-engineering.
  • Analyze performance problems and implement solutions.
  • Maintain documentation, including drawings and database listings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field, with at least 10 years of experience in automation engineering.
  • Strong understanding of injection molding machines and processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management or certification.
Preferred Skills
  • IS9000 experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for producing drawings.
  • Ability to develop PLC, HMI, and Robotics programs.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $77,500 to $87,500 per year, depending on experience.
