Job Title:

Licensed Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Youth Opportunity Investments, LLC. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individualized mental health and substance abuse treatment to youth and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the implementation of individualized mental health and substance abuse treatment.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation, assessment, and counseling to youth and their families under the direct clinical supervision of a licensed mental health professional.
  • Document the clinical course of treatment – weekly progress notes, master treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, and aftercare/transition plans.
  • Develop youth behavioral health discharge plan and aftercare plan.
  • Assess the dynamics and functioning level of each family in case load and then formulate and implement intervention plan(s).
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree, from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or in a related human services field, is required.
  • Two years' experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances or substance abuse problems.
