Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group speech and language therapy sessions to students with communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Assess and evaluate students' communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
Develop and implement strategies to improve communication skills and promote language development.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents and teachers as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution.
Eligibility for certification from the Florida Department of Education in Speech-Language Impaired and/or licensure from the Florida Department of Health in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid Florida Driver License.
Working Conditions:
This position is an instructional role and requires a valid Florida teaching certificate.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a school setting and may be required to travel to other schools or locations as needed.
