Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Watermill Express is a leading provider of affordable, sustainable, and safe drinking water and ice in a convenient drive-up format. Our company has been serving customers 24/7 at nearly 1,300 refill locations across the country since 1984.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant position supports managers and staff by performing general office duties, including inventory control, cash counting, timesheets, and other assigned tasks. This role requires a team player with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones and respond to customer requests in a professional manner.
  • Prepare hours worked for payroll preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Handle paperwork associated with water samples and monitor expense reporting deadlines.
  • Provide local assistance for corporate Human Resources and update vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain various operational reports, including cash collections and reconcile local bank accounts.
  • Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the office area and additional areas as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer software certification is preferred.
  • Efficient working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to answer telephone and direct calls as required.
  • Basic understanding of account reconciliation, time worked reports, and inventory control.
  • Competent with counting and handling money.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
