Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As an ER Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient operation of our emergency services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Manage Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer Medications and Treatments: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Communicate Effectively: Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, communicate with patients and families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and care coordination.
  • Manage Emergency Situations: Respond to critical needs, serve as a resource nurse for trauma, and demonstrate the ability to manage critical situations and make care-based decisions.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, and provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout their stay.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: RN ADN, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation, and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
  • Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department, with a strong understanding of Emergency Severity Index 5-level triage algorithm.
