Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Food Safety Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for conducting audits, inspections, and investigations to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of production facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Investigate any reported incidents or deviations from established procedures, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs and protocols to minimize risks and maintain product integrity.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure compliance with food safety best practices throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Stay informed about current industry trends, regulations, and best practices in food safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment with a focus on quality assurance and food safety.
  • Strong understanding of relevant food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
