Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our esteemed medical team in a locum tenens capacity. This role focuses on providing exceptional care in the realm of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

  • Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7 AM to 7 PM
  • Patient Demographics: 95% Adult; 5% Pediatric
  • Average Patient Volume: 10 per day
  • Practice Composition: 20% Orthopedic; 60% CNS Rehabilitation; 20% Medical Rehabilitation
  • Current Physicians: 5 in practice
  • Support Staff: Includes PT, OT, ST, RNs, SW, Recreational Therapy, RT, Unit Clerks, and Dietitians
  • Facility Equipment: Full Therapy Gyms for Brain Injury, CVA, and SCI Units
  • Trauma Level: II
  • X-ray: Available onsite
  • Electronic Medical Records: Epic
  • Additional Information: Opportunity to supervise and collaborate with PM&R residents during their inpatient rotations
  • Hospital Privileges: Required
