Job Summary

A Data Entry Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of scheduling service jobs, warranty appointments, and coordination with Service Technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret work orders, pull sheets, and pick tickets to ensure accurate data entry.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and other employees to complete assigned tasks.
  • Utilize computers and computer programs such as Excel, Microsoft Works, and in-house applications to manage data.
  • Verify data for accuracy and correct errors as necessary.
  • Prepare, sort, and compile documents for data entry.
  • Obtain additional information for incomplete documents.
  • Update data and delete unnecessary files.
  • Combine and rearrange data from source documents as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position is responsible for supervising employees in accordance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures.

  • Interview, hire, and train employees.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work.
  • Appraise employee performance.
  • Reward and discipline employees.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems.
Requirements

  • Interpersonal communication, written and verbal.
  • Flexibility in working with a variety of people.
  • Proficiency in computers and computer programs such as Excel and Microsoft Works.
  • Ability to interpret work orders, pull sheets, and pick tickets.
  • Ability to work with subcontractors, vendors, and other employees.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.

The work environment for this position is an office/warehouse setting.
