About the Role: US Engine Valve is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Lavonia, GA. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and production processes.

Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on our machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Complete projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, and material handling tasks.
  • Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates to promote knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with expertise in electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
