Overview

US Engine Valve is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and completing projects as directed.

Estimated Salary Range

$28 - $33 per hour

Job Description

This role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you will be required to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems. You will also be responsible for ensuring that job functions maintain or improve product quality, completing work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner, and performing Preventative Maintenance functions on equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting highly preferred
  • Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $28 - $33 per hour, a $1,000 signing bonus, and $500 referral opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to receive on-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical. Additionally, you will be able to work in a team environment and accomplish projects in a timely basis with acceptable workmanship.

Working Conditions

You must be able to work in a manufacturing setting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing are required. Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license are also preferred. Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training will be provided.
