Healthcare Architect

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Professional to lead diverse projects for our client's Healthcare and/or Base Building practice. The ideal candidate will excel in our client's entrepreneurial culture and be excited about the possibility of adding to their thriving Studios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys of existing healthcare environments and assist in code research for NYS building code and FGI Guidelines for Hospital and Outpatient facility requirements.
• Create and refine architectural Healthcare designs.
• Consult with clients to determine project goals, budget, and timelines.
• Coordinate the architectural set of drawings with other professional consultants on the project.
• Be proficient in computer-assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• Manage multiple projects at various stages of completion and meet deadlines.
• Conduct site visits and analyze site conditions.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals.
• Prepare detailed construction documents and specifications.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Monitor construction progress and address issues.
• Incorporate sustainable design practices and materials.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Review designs and construction work for quality and compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
• Stay current with architectural trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Healthcare or Base Building architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for creating full construction document sets.
• A strong understanding of NYC/National DOB/Codes, compliance, filing strategies, base building infrastructure, landlord coordination, and consultant coordination from design through shop drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A detail-oriented mindset and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
