Precision Mold Fabricator

Position Overview:
A reputable rubber manufacturing company is seeking a talented Mold and Die Maker to contribute to their operations. This full-time role focuses on tooling fabrication activities aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, safety, and profitability of both new and existing equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to create molds, dies, and frames according to engineering specifications.
- Fabricate, troubleshoot, and repair stamping dies, machinery, jigs, and fixtures.
- Manufacture molds, frames, and dies as instructed.
- Implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases in the manufacturing process.
- Debug new product processes before they are released to production.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience; rubber processing and die experience may substitute for formal education.
- Required CNC programming experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in high precision machining for the fabrication and repair of stamping dies, molds, and other tools, including CNC machine tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and utilize measuring equipment effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new machinery.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or purchase requisition is advantageous.
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
