Technical Drafter

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to create and modify detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design software. As a CAD Drafter, you will work closely with engineers and architects to ensure accurate and precise drawings are produced.

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on given specifications and requirements.
• Modify existing drawings and plans as requested by engineers and architects.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary data and measurements for drawings.
• Review and check drawings for errors and inconsistencies.
• Maintain and update drawing files and databases.

• 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with glazing systems: aluminum storefront, curtain wall, windows, and various other systems, and the processes to fabricate and install.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, structural drawings, and project specifications.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
